On the Web: Les Pénélopes, Digitall Futures
The first media coverage of WSF 2005 in Farsi language that provides news and views on different issues and events is now accessible on three Iranian websites.
The daily coverage contains general information about the socio-political situation in Brazil, debates related to the Middle East, and women’s issues around the world. Select articles written by Digitallfuture, an international feminist media team are translated in Farsi.
Apart from the daily coverage, an online conference will be held on the last day of the Forum. This online conference will enable Iranians who are not physically present in Porto Alegre to engage in debates about issues being addressed in the Forum.
