Training course on conflict management, Tivot, 28.01 - 07.02.2005

The Centre for Non-violent Action Belgrade is organising a Training course on conflict management in Tivot, Serbia and Montenegro from 28 January to 7 February 2005.

The aim of this training is to provide participants with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills in the field of conflict management, peace education, intercultural learning and active citizenship. The training will address issues such as violence, conflict understanding, communication, team work, decision making, creative conflict resolution, roles in organisations, national identities and others.

20 active youth leaders, youth workers, representatives of political parties, unions, employees working in media, governmental structures, local political structures and representatives of non-governmental organisations of at least 19 years of age, working in the field of conflict management or interested in the topic and coming from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro or FYRO Macedonia may apply. The training will be held in Bosnian, Croatian and Serbian language. The organisers will cover all costs related to accommodation and food. Travel costs will be reimbursed.
