The Central and Eastern European Advocacy Training |
The Central and Eastern European Advocacy training was held between 8-12 December 2004 in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro. The facilitators and organizers were from:

Youth of JAZAS
There were 16 participants from 10 countries from the region - Albania, Bulgaria, Armenia, Bosnya, Montenegro, Macedonia, Slovakia, Lithuania, Georgia and Poland. The training was very interactive including various topics connected to advocacy of young people such as:
Steps in the advocacy process;
Techniques of persuation;
Audience analyses;
Message development
Working with media, governmental officials and in networks.
The workshop aimed not only at exchange of knowledge and ideas, connected to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights and youth participation but also at improvement of skills related to advocacy campaigns. As facilitators and participants were young people, the training mixed hard work and serious conversations with amusing games, techniques and great fun all the time.
