Training in ICT for local women from NGOs will take place in Sofia |
Training in Information and communication technologies will take place from 31 July to 1 August in Sofia, Bulgaria. This training is part ot WiTT program for performing local trainings in countries from South and Eastern Europe and it has been organised by Internet Rights Bulgaria Foundation.
Participants in this training are local women representatives of the NGO sector in Bulgaria. The working language will be Bulgarian. The training will be done in the InterSpace computer room, which is based on Linux OS. The program of the training includes the following topics:
the role of websites in the life of the NGOs;
publishing of information online;
political reasons for use of Free Software by the NGOs;
introduction and practice with Linux;
information security and virus defence on the Internet.
