European Parliament says Bulgaria must provide better facilities for disabled

The European Parliament last week approved a report on Bulgaria’s progress towards European Union accession in 2007. The report was generally positive about the progress that Bulgaria had made. However, as well as stressing the need for a speed up in judicial reform, the report particularly criticised the situation faced by disabled people in Bulgaria and said improvements were urgently needed.
