Third National Competition for a child drawing: "Children and the World"

An exposition related to the Third National Competition on the "Children and the World" was inaugurated in the Sredets Hall of the Ministry of Culture on the 22 of November, 2007. One of the topic was "My Friends" dedicated to children from different ethnic communities in Bulgaria. The best 18 (out of 70) drawings got a prize and will become images for printing post cards and posters.

The competition was organised by Ethnopalitra Foundation, with the collaboration of the Ministry of culture and Shalom, the Juish Organisation in Bulgaria. The aim was to encourage children to look around you, to get to know each other, and to learn more about their ethnic and religious differences, and to learn to tolerate them.

Special prize was given the the Embassy of the Russian Federation arts school, directed by Olga Deneva, in which there were participants from more than 15 nationalities.

The exposition could be seen in Sredets Hall of the Ministry of Culture between 22 and 27 of November 2007. Everyone is welcome!
