Balkan conference in Slovenia a success

The international conference „Changing conditions in the Balkan countries - challenges for future cooperation“ took place in Ljubljana on February 26-27, 2007. The conference has been organized by the Slovenian NGDO platform SLOGA in the framework of the of the Regional Partnership Programme RPP http://www.regionalpartnership.at.

Speakers came from international donors such as the EC, World Bank, USAID, from Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, Austria, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovak Republic as well as from the NGO sector. View the program at the following link: http://www.sloga-platform.org/UserF....

The participants repeatedly stressed the need for more co-operation and information sharing accross the region. The Slovenian NGDO platform SLOGA will play an important role in further facilitating this process.
