Bulgaria needs to open-up for accepting foreigners on the labour market |
“Bulgaria needs to open up for qualified workers from abroad”, said Ivailo Kalfin, Minister of the external affairs in his visit in Rousse. There is a visible lack of technical experts on the labour market and the problem will deepen even more with the EU accession of Bulgaria next year, where the limits for accepting Bulgarins on the EU market are maximum 7 years.
The openning-up of the Bulgarian labour market for foreigners poses questions on whether Bulgaria should accept experts from all the countries and on whether there should be any limitations in this respect. Kalfin evaluates the labour market as one of the obstacles standing in front of the ratification agreement of Bulgaria with the European Union, as well as one of the economical challenges of the country.
