Kinodrom 2005: autonomous events for cultural exchange and debate

Over the past year, through events organised in a Berlin open space, a group of young people have launched the Kinodrom 2005 summer tour initiative. They will travel from August 1st to October 30th, from Budapest to Istanbul, stopping by cities and villages on the road in order to informally promote cultural exchange events with the help of film projections, music, debate and exchange of ideas.

The group will be passing by the region of Veliko Turnovo from september 12-19, Sofia region september 20-27 and Plovdiv region september 28 to 5th of october.

They are searching for volunteers, cultural groups and NGOs in these cities to help co-organise the events locally.

So far, the group has proposed to project the following movies, altough locally produced movies and music are also welcomed and they are open to ideas:
